Chapter 4: Sending Messages

4.1 Contacts

To add a Contact

1. Tap Contacts.

2. Tap Menu > New contact.

3. Enter contact information such as name, phone number, email address etc. Tap

Done to save the contact or tap Revert to exit without saving any change.

NOTE: SIM Contact only stores name and phone number. To store more

information such as an email address, create a new contact on the device.

To import contacts

1. Tap Menu > Import/Export.

2. Select to import contacts from SIM Card or SD Card.

3. Select contacts to import or tap Menu to select Import all.

4.2 Sending a Text Messge

1. Tap Messaging.

2. Tap New message.

3. In To field, enter the recipient’s phone number, then tap Next.

4. Type message in the Type to compose field, then tap Done.

5. Tap Send.
